As for resolving Season 1′s cliffhanger, executive producer David Zuckerman says that will be resolved pretty quickly at the start of Season 2.
"I would say 95 percent of the cliffhanger is resolved in the premiere,” says Zuckerman. "That’s not to say there aren’t new questions asked, but we definitely address cliffhanger in premiere.”
Guest cast that Zuckerman is hoping to bring back in Season 2 includes Mary Steenburgen, Dwight Yoakam and a very big guest star they’re hoping to secure for the premiere.
"I’m not going to say who it is, but it would be an event,” says Zuckerman.
